This day course will teach you the intermediate level techniques
of couture tambour beading and embroidery.
Students must have already completed the Tambour Embroidery & Beading
Level 1 Introduction, or equivalent.
You will learn:
- How to use draw-back stitch to:
- achieve a crisp directional change.
- make embroidered motifs.
- make straight and curving designs and edgings.
- Bricking Stitch - the professional way to apply bugle beads
- Picot Stitch - this can be used as an edging or as a three-dimensional accent in a design.
- ‘Verm’ - the skilful execution of this filling stitch is very important to give the professional finish required in couture work.
- How to tambour beaded loop fringing.
- The essentials of designing for tambour beading
